Distribution is storytelling; Advisory is walking the talk
Ralph Waldo Emerson had famously said, "Money often costs too much". While there may be several interpretations of this quote, a simple one is that time is the ultimate cost. As we adjust to the lockdown life and the surrounding uncertainty, many high net-worth individuals (HNIs) have seen chinks in their approach to wealth management. Whether the goal is to protect family wealth or to manage family assets, a tailored approach is the key to success. How then does one understand what's right for them? Is it wiser to opt for distributors who do not charge any upfront fee or is there merit in engaging with a seasoned advisor?
