The third edition of the Fortune India-Waterfield Advisors' study of India's richest reveals a historic milestone for India’s wealth creation journey: for the first time, the combined wealth of India’s dollar billionaires has surpassed the $1trillion milestone, representing a 50% increase in three years. Furthermore, the club of billionaires has soared from 142 in 2022 to 185 this year. These formidable accomplishments bring the contribution of the cumulative wealth of India’s richest up to 33.81% of India’s total nominal GDP.
