The Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a diversified marketing strategy that strengthens Waterfield’s brand, enhances client engagement, and accelerates business growth. This role requires balancing strategic vision with operational excellence across multiple marketing functions, including brand management, communications, product marketing, and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will drive innovation through a mix of digital, content, experiential, and partnership-led initiatives, ensuring that Waterfield connects meaningfully with both existing and prospective clients across varied channels and audience segments.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Communication
- Define and implement the brand strategy to enhance visibility, trust, and differentiation in the market.
- Lead corporate communications, thought leadership, and public relations to build brand credibility.
- Oversee content strategy across all channels — digital, print, PR, and client communications. Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
Product Marketing
- Partner with product and advisory teams to craft compelling product narratives and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop client-centric campaigns that highlight financial solutions and advisory expertise.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor positioning to refine product propositions.
Performance & Digital Marketing
- Drive digital acquisition through SEO, SEM, paid media, email, and social platforms.
- Optimise campaigns for lead generation, conversion, and retention using data-driven insights.
- Implement robust marketing analytics and attribution models to measure ROI and campaign effectiveness.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Collaborate with business, product, and advisory leaders to align marketing strategy with organisational goals.
- Manage marketing budgets, vendors, and external agencies effectively.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing
- Proven expertise in brand management, digital performance marketing, and strategic communication.
- Strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, or fintech sectors.
- Exceptional storytelling, analytical, and leadership skills.
- MBA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
