Senior Investment Analyst

Waterfield Advisors is one of India's largest Independent Multi Family Office, currently Managing an AUM of over 4.5 Billion. Our NDPMS team seeks to hire a Senior Investment Analyst.
The Investment Analyst will ensure the competitiveness of the portfolio mgmt. team by preparing analyses, research, insights, and high-quality information dashboards
Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of MF's, AIFs, ETFs & individual securities (bonds, REITs, InvITs etc).
- Generate investment recommendations for consumption of fund mgmt. team.
- Participate in weekly reflection meets on asset allocation and product selection.
- Perform advanced analyses like calculation of active risk & return for shortlisted active managers, what-if scenarios for fixed income deployment & probability estimations for expected returns.
- Work with fund management team in preparation of investment thesis for shortlisted funds & individual securities.
- Work closely with firm’s product team to be up-to-date with changes in product white-lists and product pipeline.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Creation and maintenance of quantitative screens on a periodic basis for analysis of funds and issuers under coverage.
- Maintain up to date information on the latest economic trend in the country. Collating data on the industry, trends, leading indicators for preparation of a monthly dashboard.
- Work on sub projects for the design, development, enhancement, and testing of quantitative models for selecting funds/individual securities.
- Support the client engagement team with their customer review responsibilities.
- Coordinate with other participants whether business or technical as needed.
- Work and communicate with relationship managers on asset class outlook and portfolio actions taken by the fund management team.
- After a year of work as an analyst, get a chance to participate in external meetings, engaging with clients and delivering the firm's view.
- Participate in any related investment project by the business.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of work exp ideally in Wealth Mgmt. or Investment Mgmt.
- Working knowledge of data modelling techniques, knowledge of research tools/databases such as Morningstar & Bloomberg, would be of added advantage.
- Exceptional analytical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of portfolio management principles and techniques like asset allocation, securities selection, portfolio laddering, etc.
- Familiarity with Excel is a must. Advanced data analysis skills are an advantage.

- Good interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.
- Excellent communication and listening skills
